Is this real PostgreSQL?
Yes — stock PostgreSQL, not a fork or a wire-compatible imitation. Every extension, every client library, and every tool you already use works unchanged.
What happens when a node fails?
A consensus layer detects the failure and promotes a healthy replica automatically, usually within seconds. You don’t get paged, and in most cases your app reconnects through the pooler without a config change.
Where does my data live?
On Hetzner Cloud, in EU data centers (Germany & Finland) — GDPR-aligned, powered by 100% renewable energy, and never leaving Europe. No exposure to non-EU jurisdiction over your data.
Can I migrate in easily? And out?
Both. Import from RDS, Supabase, or Neon in minutes. And because it’s plain Postgres, leaving is a standard pg_dump — we keep an export button right in the dashboard.
